I don't care how great it is to go on vacation and spend time with people you love and don't get to see as often as you'd like, it's always nice to get home. Mine is up on that hill behind some trees and I'm glad to be back. I got off the plane to heavy rain and good friends who very kindly gave me a ride home from the airport.

Today was beautiful weather -- more blue sky with great puffy white cloud activity -- my favorite. Had lunch with my daughter, did all the laundry from my trip and spent time apologizing to the kitties for being gone. I especially had a lot of apologizing to do to my family of squirrels who had a peanut-less week -- must have had the whole family show up looking for treats. I'll do my best to make it up to them.
