Rock Pooling

So the photography course is over and everyone apart from us has left the island - we are staying an extra night and travelling home tomorrow once it is safe to cross the causeway to the mainland. The weather has been amazing. Glorious sunshine, clear light and fantastic sunrises and sunsets. No one could quite believe how lucky we were. I think I've learned better control of exposure to get the images I want, and how to use filters for better landscape photography. My objective was to improve my landscape photography in order to be able to put my wildlife subjects in a more pleasing setting. This is my first conscious effort to do this - a curlew feeding at sunset on the beach. So, I'll be going home tomorrow with a huge number of photos to sort through, many pretty poor failed experiments, but some that I'm really pleased with.
