colours

As a change from the touristy photos of scenery and reindeer sleds and countryside - see extra - the blip is of a small glass blowing unit in Tromso and one of their colourful displays.  It was certainly one of the warmest places we've visited.

All of the designs were either vibrant colours or mixtures of whites and blues depicting in some way the snow and ice and sea all around.

Colours featured strongly too in the traditional Sami clothes where their garments and the harnesses for the reindeer were also traditionally bright colours - see extra.

too much info about the Sami people to cram into this blip but a fascinating trip out into the countryside on one of the best days of the year so far (according to the locals!).
