Girl's day out.....

My friend and now ex colleague, made a pact to meet each school holiday and have done so for the last four years. We've built up quite an impressive list of venues over the years.

Today was Harrods, a beautiful store with incredible displays and beautiful food halls. The SD card in my Fuji has split and given up the ghost and my D90 was too big for today, so my phone had to be today's camera but it did well and we shared photos later. Lots taken through glass too so not perfect, but a record of our day. 

Think our favourite hall was the cake hall, and being Valentine's Day there were plenty of red and hearts, but all cakes really are works of art and not tooo expensive for one small cake, beautifully gift boxed. 

We then took the tube to Covent Garden and then the Savoy and I introduced Bittoo to the facilities there....definitely the Ladies Room! A drink in the American Bar, where her son joined us, finished the day nicely.
