....my pancake this evening, filled with the left over fruit from my breakfast this morning..and a little dribble of golden syrup....

D's was equally delicious. Maple syrup and squirty cream....

It only happens once a year!

The family have arrived in Lisbon for a few days. It's M's birthday today too so I hope they celebrate in warm sunshine. It was when they landed apparently. Meanwhile, we've just lit the log fire and will be sitting close by!

Little Violet and her mum came home from hospital yesterday. My sister has been sleeping on the sofa in their home in Bath but will drag herself away tomorrow to come back to London. She will return after Dave has had his paternity leave ..and will be in her element.
