Promising pink

We didn't have the best nights sleep....woke up feeling groggy.

A late breakfast and a quick tidy round before P, my tutor arrived for my second session on Lightroom.  We worked through my list of questions, I learned how to export, resize, print presets, created a couple more presets in the developing module and worked on the image of Olivia that blipped yesterday. Having had a go at developing it myself, it was interesting to see the difference afterwards. Its amazing how quickly the time passes when you are engrossed in what you are doing.  My final session next week is going to focus on my camera as P thinks I have grasped the Lightroom basics and will benefit from a few hours 121 photography tuition, so looking forward to that.

Hub popped into town to get the bits we needed, then came back and had his lunch whilst we were sat in the dining room.

Its been a lovely sunny day here, pity I didn't get out to enjoy it, other than five minutes in the garden to get todays blip. This is the first sign of new growth on one of our shrubs.....it has the prettiest salmon pink colour when it first emerges.

We have had liver & bacon with onion gravy, mashed potatoes, asparagus and peas for dinner.....not had that for a long time, but it is one of hubs favourites.

We have agreed tonight we will go to bed earlier and get back into a better routine......rather than keep waking up late, we should be tired enough after last night, so fingers crossed.
