Watching the Waves
It was a gorgeous sunny day today, but very windy and icy cold - we even had a bit of snow this afternoon!
Despite the wind, we went out quite early and had brunch at the sailing club in Seaford, had a stroll to Splash Point and then walked into town. On the way back we stopped in Newhaven to take some photos of the lighthouse, but I struggled with my choice of blip as I took a nice shot of the sandy beach that's owned by the French. Sadly it's fenced off as we're not allowed to use it as the French company that own it won't accept liability for any accidents that might occur. It's such a shame, as it's a lovely spot and the only sandy beach in our area.
This afternoon I've made a start on the ironing, and the mountain has crumbled slightly, and I've also made a Sunday roast and batch cooked rice, minced beef and vegetables for Bobbie & Milou. I'm hoping it will make a difference to their skin problems as Sandra's dog also has sensitive skin and this worked for her. They certainly enjoyed it anyway!
So that's another weekend over, hope you have a good week!
