Snippets of Life

A day at work much of which was spent doing pieces of work I don't much enjoy. This includes working out one of our quarterly budget sheets and another is listening patiently whilst being moaned at by people frustrated by management processes over which I have limited control. But if that is all I have to complain about I am a very fortunate person!

As last night my blip was about my grandmother, tonight I thought I would blip a page from my grandad's diary from 1990. He notes he attended an "ambulance men's" protest outside the civic centre which several hundred people attended, and the wet and very windy weather. In a slightly later entry for early March he notes the Poll Tax is beginning to cause 'a bit of a stir' in various parts of the country. I love having these little snippets of his life and his muses to dip into.
