We are family
We are family - only a small family, mind you.
Top left is Mr A's parents on their wedding day in 1958.
Top right is my parents on their wedding day in 1954.
Bottom middle is Mr A and me on our wedding day in 1984.
Sadly, Mr A's Mum passed away on Christmas Eve 2007 and my Dad passed away on Christmas Eve 2010.
A quiet sort of day today. Tesco delivery arrived on time at noon. Mr A and My Boy went to Brighton for the afternoon, catching the elusive 500px/Instagram/Flickr shots. I took the opportunity to visit Mum. Yesterday I whipped round vacuuming for her and getting some food shopping in. Today involved cleaning windows, putting washing on and changing the bed for her. She is still coping remarkably well considering her right (main) hand is strapped up and sore...even managing to get fully dressed and made up without assistance.
Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend!
Thought for the day:
"We have confused illness with the process of aging, which can be thoroughly healthy. Illness is not a necessary part of aging!" (Dr Charles Eugster)
