The sentinel

Notice the goose all the way in the back with his head up. That is the sentinel in this group. Its job is to keep an eye out for any trouble. They can be quite noisy if need be. The bird in the front is called a sleeper and the others would be called feeders if they were in a field. Anyway, I enjoyed their early morning visit.
