A glamorous collector

We’re having a short break in Devon and this morning we went to Sidmouth to look around. I’ve been before but only during the Folk Festival so it was strange to see it without musicians and dancers filling the streets.

We had a look around the town’s Lifeboat Station where I saw this very glam lady collecting money. Her male counterpart was across the road doing the same job. She’ll need to be careful not to chip that nail varnish on the collecting bucket!

This afternoon we watched birds on the Exe Estuary. We saw lots of waders including redshanks and avocets. They were too far away to make a good photo though. The extra is of sunset over the estuary.
