With love

My closest friend bought me this ornament at Christmas. I can't remember what  she represents but I was so grateful to her today I've dedicated it as representing love.

She took me to my appointment and gave me support and encouragement right through and we even had time to go for a coffee at the little restaurant there. It was the closest I've been to something 'normal' since this whole thing began.

Really had a problem with the Oncologist though. I told him what the Macmillan nurse had told me about being able to do a few sessions and if I didn't like it, I could stop. He said that wasn't true.
After he'd left the room the nurse said it actually was true and if I just did the first one, found it was too much and I couldn't carry on with any more I had the right to withdraw my consent.

The nurse at the other clinic told me it was the nurses who really run the Oncology centre and so it seems to be.
I got him to get me the figures and percentages of the effectiveness of each treatment which he almost didn't do until I reminded him.
Haven't looked at those since I got back as I wanted to put it all behind me and relax for the day.

Was hoping to sleep tonight but tried my car tonight and found it had had its wing mirror targeted again. Some silly lads have been kicking my wing mirror for over a year now. I've had to have it replaced once.
This time it's not broken, it was just loose and then came out and I tried putting it back but didn't have a clue and I was freezing out there.
So I checked on you tube and will have another go at some point.
