Hanging around the fun guys

Dodgy nights sleep. Went straight off but then woke up after an hour. So all in all managed about 6hours.

Up and hoping for a clear sky today. Was relatively clear from the window but as I went out for a run to Jerbourg it was chucking it down!

After breakfast it had more or less stopped raining so we went off to Bordeaux. Afterwards it was off to Pleinmont for a walk along the cliff tops.

It had begun to drizzle again as we got there but it was warm still, so off we set. The drizzle set in good and proper and the low cloud disguising the influx of planes, finally getting through to the island.

A good walk there and saw loads of these mushrooms, they love it up here, all mossy and damp. Have seen these types before, but the name escapes me. Got the Pleinmont tower in the background on this shot too.

We drove to icart then and the sun started its first appearance of the week. We had a great walk along the cliffs, in the hot sun, to Jaonnet Bay then back. Think there may have been some basking sharks around the bay, as loads of folks stood at icart looking down.

Time for a cuppa at Fermain and then yet another walk along the cliffs from the hotel to Moulin! Blimey, we are whacked today!!

Dinner this evening was divine! At Christies, starter of corn beef and black pudding hash, with a fried egg, and HP sauce!! Wow! Then proper steak, kidney and mushroom pudding!

Dessert beat me and we had a walk around the harbour before driving home. Stuffed.com!
