Fogbound island, day 2

Having a blip of a nightmare with the Internet/network over here. Have got a backlog of blips that I can't upload! Mind you, Internet problems are nothing for an island that's had it's airport closed for 2 days!!

Another full day of fog today. Drizzly too, but strangely warm (up to 19' degrees today!). No airport means no newspapers or post to/from the island.

Still, fog and drizzle doesn't deter us from having a great time. Did lots of walking today. Along beaches, along cliff tops, we are overdosing on fresh air!!

The fog lifted as we got to Jerbourg at around 4pm. We went for a walk along the path there, the fog horn in clear view, but finally silent. However, we'd only walked about 20 mins along the cliff tops as the fog started to roll in again. A couple of planes had come in to land too, but don't think much of the back log would be shifted today.

Took this picture from the cliff top, you can see the beautiful beach below at petit port, which has hundreds of steps to meet it.

Dinner today was delicious at Mora's in town. A beautiful meal, 3 quality courses for £15!

Had a wander around the harbour then, watching some of the fishing boats preparing to go out into the clear night
