Something I once made

This was an embroidery I made several long years ago. Funny how I remember what I was watching while doing it.
Had a rough time on 9th as the sitter didn't turn up for me to go to my appointment with the consultant. The consultant changed my appointment so i could get there later and told me that he'd removed the cancer from my breast and it was just in the one lymph node, all the rest were clear.
They had sent a sample off to America where they did a test to produce a score to determine what treatment is needed next and that it will take two weeks.
I thought I had two weeks to relax, catch up on sleep and recover from the stress of the sitter not turning up on the day.
However today 11th, I've been phoned to say they've had the results back and they advise chemo for me as a preventative measure to stop it returning. I freaked out when the nurse told me what treatment was planned and asked if it meant they thought it had spread and she said no, it's to stop it returning. Will write more on the day of the 11th.
