Doing the Otway Fly

I promised my four (3 Breakeys plus Mlle L) that their Christmas gift was an outing to the Otway Fly, a very long chain of tree top flying foxes.
It wasn't cheap, so I booked a family ticket for 2 adults ( the 16yr olds) and 2 kids. But when we arrived at the place, they said that although the big kids were old enough to be charged as adults, they weren't sufficiently old to accompany young Mr A who will be 12 in Feb. We had a stand off situation, with 2 solutions. Mr A would gave to sit it out, or I would have to go. I took the easiest solution - I joined in. Luckily, I had thrown in a pair of closed shoes, just in case.

Despite the messy start, running up and down to collect said shoes, it was very good fun. I am not great at heights, but the view (at speed) was wonderful. Joining in with the kid's fun was worth it too.
