Day 59 - Rap

Today we woke up in Bad Saulgau, Germany in a lovely hotel for a full German style buffet breakfast. I have to say it is spot on in my eyes! Amazing!

We travelled through some amazing autumn scenery before arriving in Karlsruhe where we checked into our hotel for the night which is very swish indeed!!! Big apartment style room for two people each... As well as a sauna I may take advantage of tomorrow morning.

We played a great gig I felt, at Jubez Bar/Cafe in Karsruhe. Super sound yet the audience was silent. Until they stomped for an encore!

When we finished playing we took seat at the bar. This is me after the barmaid poured me a martini and lemonade... Holding the bar up... Or was it holding me?! Let's just say her measures are pretty wild!!! 3/4 martini 1/4 bitter lemon! It was amazing but wow...

While the whole band sat chilling out unknown to us a random man who goes by the name of Tony was stood outside. He must have been stood there for nearly two hours. As we were leaving and headed to the van just outside the venue he asked if he could take a group shot of all of us... Which we said yeah, sure... He had been at the gig. He stood in front of us with his camera... Then said he had a surprise for us... Felt sligtly worried at this point!! He brought out what looked like a red bicycle light and shined it on us and filmed us with a video recorder... While he did this he started to say.... "Guys, guys I have a rap for you, The Wishing Well, where dreams come true..."

He continued to rap out a story he had made up using all of the song titles from our albums. The rap ended in not telling his wife and two people sitting drinking diet mountain dew...

Everyone was finding it extremely hard not to burst into tears of laughter until he had ended his rap. I filmed the whole thing!! What a random treasure...!

He went on to ask us to sign not one but six photographs of the band. Pictures he had obviously downloaded from the Internet and got printed especially as well as 2 bits of glossy paper...! What a bizarre end to a great gig!!

A true band stalker!!!
