Day 60 - Disco Shower

Karlsruhe - Osnabrück

We left Karlsruhe at 11:30am this morning. We travelled for 11 hours (a trip that should have taken about 4 hours) and exited the van at 10:30pm this evening! The logic and reason for coming all this way I am yet to find out...!

The autobahn we were traveling on was completely closed 50miles ahead of us when we found out from a lorry driver why we had been stuck in traffic for a huge chunk of the day. Apparently there was a huge accident and the road was to be opened again at 8pm... We decided to take the nearest exit an navigate our way to another highway. It took a long time but at least we weren't in the accident. I hope there were no fatalities...

This is a blip of the shower in the swanky hotel we were put up in last night. I got a slight shock when I turned on the shower to find my soap bubbles having a little disco party but it sure did wake me up! Loved it!
