Tulips

In December??  The only flowers I saw today were in the Supermarket and these Tulips didn't appear to have been too popular as they had been relegated to the reduced bin. 

I had a lovely lunch out with my two besties at one of our favourite local pubs, lunch was as good as ever but we had to stay longer than anticipated as just as we were about to leave there was an accident on the side of the road we were due to travel home on.  We found out later it wasn't too serious but there was a fairly long hold up.

Today would have been my dear Brother's 83rd Birthday but he died last January following heart surgery so I dedicate the  Tulips to him and for FlowerFriday, thank you BikerBear for hosting.
