A blackbird...

...a new one, has claimed residence in my back garden.

He doesn’t look this mean, actually he looks a lovely friendly blackbird. He doesn’t have a mate yet. However, he is scaring all the other birds from my back garden including sparrows, blue tits, and many more. No other blackbirds have taken him on yet. So, I have given him a mean look!

There is a half coconut fat ball thingy out there. He won’t let anyone near it.

I can get within about a metre and a half from him, and no I am not feeding him, there is plenty of natural food in my garden, and seedheads, and berries, and worms, and snails, and slugs. He can eat those!
