Christmas lights on the plane trees

There was more snow overnight.  I went down to the market but there was only one solitary table with a man trying to sell a few artisan Christmas decorations.  A longish walk to the supermarket as an alternative constituted today's exercise.  The shops are now gearing up for Christmas but nothing really happens until December 1st which makes for a less frenzied and less commercial run up to the festive season. I like that. I watched the rugby in the afternoon just enjoying having a warm house again.
