First responders

I went for a walk after lunch and on the way back came across this lady who had slipped on the ice on her way back from church.  It was good I was passing as she had been sitting there for two hours in the freezing cold unable to move. It looked like she had a broken ankle and no-one had passed by.  Mrs TT went for blankets and I phoned the fire brigade who are the medical first responders.  They were there within about twenty minutes. They called last week at the door selling their charity calendar.  I was happy to buy one as they do a great job.
