Hob-bled together

An awful WhatsApp pic that I took to send to my sister... but I have no other photos today!
I made these 'shower melts' - bicarb and essential oils...you drop then into the bottom of the shower and as they melt they diffuse... I've made a batch for some friends I'm seeing on Friday.
It's chucked it down all day...i bundled Nate up to do our odds and ends out & about today...the boy is full of a cold. It's making for interesting nights...he was up 7x after midnight last night...and 2x before. 
In the afternoon whilst Asha was at Catalan, I made her advent calendar...we're doing one this year with lots of little challenges for her to do...things like 'make biscuits for our neighbours', or 'pick up litter on the way home from school' etc etc.
I had a Skype with Abby tonight & 'met' Eli - what a cutie! And SO great to catch up with a well-loved friend.

Drama of the day:
Poor Nate struggling with his cold.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Danny doing well in his first essay!! It makes all his hours of hard work worth it.
2) Asha's love of reading... she's reading anything and everything she can! Funny hearing her read English words though as she reads all words as if they were Spanish.
3) Catching up with Abby... someone who knows the good the bad & the ugly about me.
