Looking up

Heard from a new agency today who are able to come out to see to mum's care from next Monday evening onwards, morning and evening.
I'm pleased about that because it means there won't be any awkward moments if they had called when another company were sitting with mum on Thursday.
After that all being well, in January I'll need someone to sit with mum in the day while I have radiotherapy sessions for three weeks.
Apparently there is a carers relief 'thing' they have where it gives carers a break for 60 hours so she's looking into that as a possibility.

I've been trying to have a quieter day today but mum's not been too good. Hardly eating or drinking. I don't know if she's in any pain or just hearing the conversations going on and getting stressed.
She's gone off to sleep now but I'll have to wake her for her tea and to stop her being awake in the night.
