My luck turning

Today I kept seeing a robin at the window feeder but everything was too hazy to photograph and then he / she appeared on a branch and stayed sitting just long enough for me to get today's blip.

Have now booked two weeks live in care taking me beyond Christmas a little bit.
Have checked that an agency, while not being fully hired are willing to still sit with mum while I go for my pre-op this week.
There was more but until it's confirmed I don't want to tempt fate so I'll add that when I know for sure.
