Quieter day.

I've been trying to rest and relax this afternoon. Had the assessment this morning from the company coming to do mum's personal care. Mum slept through it. Then has someone call from the building society to see the POA documents. Later my brother called as he'll be keeping an eye on mum's bank to make sure her bills get paid as I can't get out for a while.
After that I've just done a load of washing and chilled out.
Trying not to overthink tomorrow morning for the pre op.

Had a great chat with a Macmillan 'Buddy' matched with me who put my mind at ease over a lot of things.

I am hoping to get back home by half twelve tomorrow as that's the time limit for the carer sitting with mum.

The roses are over our front door and were planted as a gift for mum and dad's ruby wedding anniversary many moons ago now.
