From the Esplanade

6.3C with some rain. Fairly light in the afternoon. Light NNW/NW/N/NNW breeze.

Depressingly dull and still wet.

Fergus and I went for a walk after lunch. We went round to the harbour and had a wander round the old quay then went out along Kilkerran Road for a mile and a half or so. There were two seals in the loch, bobbing about.

We turned at Glenramskill House and came back the same way then along the street side of the park and came home through town passing the town hall and the bookshop (closed for half day). Fergus had his new coat on because I thought it might be wetter. He really didn't need it. Good experiment though, he was quite happy to wear it. When we got home I used some damp kitchen roll then a towel to clean off his wet and dirty legs then gave him a quick brush. He just stands there and soaks up the attention.

No music while walking today. I wanted to pay attention to Fergus and watch how he got on.
