Apple Day: my kind of revival

Superb weather to be sitting out on straw bales, conteplating apples, and enjoying sunshine.

I attended a local Apple Day event today - so many varieties, so many delicious uses. Put on a couple of food prep demo's myself, one for soup and one for sweet. Surprised by how well they were receieved - quickly sold out of recipe packs, and fruit leathers. A lot of intrigue over my secret ingredient (Irish moss).

Here's the very popular date caramel sauce which I made to dip fruit pieces in. There was an option to dust with coconut at the demo, but I've pictured it here dusted with cacao powder. Wicked.
