Wartime lunch

The church was open for this last week for the Remembrance service. We will have to move out next week as the church has no heating. Afterwards we repaired to Olette for a wartime meal of corn beef hash followed by bread and butter pudding, the proceeds in aid of the poppy appeal. The view from the terrace is wonderful and we probably could have sat outside as there is still warmth in the sun.
