Blue sky

After getting blood taken to be checked as part of my annual medical review, I met Chris and Ailie for a walk round the moor. I took this Blip of the lovely autumn colours on my way up the hill. Although the sun was shining, the wind was bitter. Ailie had brought a flask of very nice sloe gin to keep the cold at bay.

After that I wasn’t feeling in the mood to start preparing for our 18 lunch guests tomorrow, (daughters and families, nieces and families - altogether 8 children aged 3-13) but I made roast veg cous cous and some cup cakes for the children - Ella and Nathaniel are arriving tonight so they can decorate them.
