The operating table

I went into work early this morning knowing that I had a big job ahead of me. I had to replace six bushings on this very worn mechanism and make a ratchet spring. I was not confident that the clock would not be beyond repair. Fortunately all went well and the clock is ticking away nicely. The afternoon consisted of making a vat of pumpkin soup and preparing the sourdough starter for tomorrow's bake. I squeezed in a quick stomp around the lanes but it was gloomy and dull so there were no photographic opportunities.
