Diary hiccup
Becky came to pick Archie up and they had fun in the park with the half-gnawed frisbee. I made a muck-up with his appointment diary, and had him down for going out again with Elizabeth. I felt bad, because I told him she was coming, and he was up at the window, craning his neck watching people through the hedge, only to see it wasn’t HER. Poor Archie, but some leftover liver muffin soon helped him to forget. And anyway, she popped in later to surprise him..
We intended to pop in to a Craft Fair organised by a friend. Fortunately, dogs were allowed. We weren’t sure which church hall it was in, and ’Holy Corner’ as the name suggests, has more than one church. Four, in fact.
We rushed to the first one. Yes, there was a craft fair on, but as soon as we were in, we knew it wasn’t the one we wanted, so we walked round, looking politely at all the wares, going as fast as we could without being too noticeably rude.
Next church hall, nothing going on. Not the next one either. But we found it in church hall no 4. It was still very busy, though the 'talks' had already taken place, but we couldn’t find our friend.
No worries, we eschewed their urn coffee, preferring the nearby wee French cafe, with French pastries.
JR went off into town to get dye for the new grey suede boots that she ruined by spilling oil on one of them almost the first time she wore them.
Archie and I came home over the Links, and we spent the rest of the afternoon on the sofa. I was reading my book.
Check out the photo I took just before this one (extra), which is his usual look when near leaves...
