It was, on balance, a fairly dull day, today, for me at least. Plus, as one mans the stand between tea breaks and lunch breaks, it's difficult to avoid reflecting just how much you're paying - thousands - for fairly limited exposure to delegates. Still, the proof is in the pudding, and it won't be possible to tell for a couple of weeks whether it was worthwhile. 

I quite like the venue - The Studio, Birmingham - which is just about the right amount of quirky, although I really don't know what this 'plane, suspended from the ceiling, is all about. Still, it was a welcome distraction for a few minutes. People with low boredom thresholds; don't man stands at exhibitions.
