Ruadh's new mate

A neighbour is currently dog sitting and we have ended up with the dog today. Mabel - great name - is a Jack Russell Poodle cross, Jackapoo? They get on quite well when they are not trying to assert the canine pecking order.
Friday night is quiz night and with only two of our normal six available, Austen and myself went in great trepidation. however there were two other mateless blokes of a similar vintage and so we joined forces. Triumph when we tied for the first place at the end of the evening. Despair when we lost the play-off. I ask you - "How many passing places are there on the Committee Road?" Only a sad person knows the answer....
