Full circle

Having got up ridiculously early to walk the kilometre and catch the 7:15am ferry to Corfu Town, we arrived there with nine hours before our flight.
This time we did a couple of the sites - a museum of Byzantine art set in a chapel and the Old Fort. A Venetian fort improved by the English and now very much still dominating the old town. Sadly full of Americans form the cruise ship you can see in the background of this blip.
With a quiet read however and a revisit to the site of our first meal in Corfu the time passed quickly and, as ever, the Ryanair flight was smooth and after a short train ride, we got to Hannah and Jules by 11:30pm - too late for them to be up....
