Peterborough Services

Made it safely back from Harrogate, but not without its challenges. Doreen had a minor issue that delayed our departure for most of the morning meaning we went on various Virtual wild goose chases trying to get things sorted. In the end we decided to travel south and get the issue sorted at home.

Which we duly did. We'd both had a poor night's sleep as guests above us in the hotel were incredibly noisy. All was quiet when we went to sleep but we were woken at 1.45am by noise from above, heavy footed walking up and down, banging as if they were opening and shutting doors. After half an out of this I went to see the night manager who went to have a word. It quietened down for 15 minutes then started again. Another visit by the manager finally sorted the issue at about 3.00am but they were at the same thing again at 7.00am. What were they doing?

So we had to stop more often than we wanted on the way back, firstly at Blythe services where I had a long snooze then again at Peterborough where today's s shot was taken.
