Outside Maidstone Library

A day which didn’t really get going. Took the Hyundia for MOT and service and to check on problems with gearbox. Everything OK but had to have a new clutch slave cylinder as there was a leak in the system.

Walked home via coffee shop, past the library, spending the rest of the day doing not very much. Told Doreen about the break in. She took it remarkably well. She’s staying with us until the door has been fixed.

By then it was time to walk back to collect the cat, 7 miles round trip, calling in at Aldi for sausages.

We spent some time in the evening playing guitar and ukulele, finishing up with a duet of a couple of songs. I can’t vouch for the quality but it was good fun.
