Harvest home
We have a great apple harvest this year.
Yesterday , Rob took most of them to the apple press at our friends house and came home with 5 gallons of juice. It's delicious! Some we have frozen for drinking, the rest will ferment for scrumpy cider, also for drinking!
The remaining apples are some Bramley for pies, and the Mower's Quench which Rob grew from a seed around 10 years ago and is now a fine fruiting tree with big juicy red apples, one of the best I have tasted.
