Wonderful to see you

Last time we saw NannaK and H it was last year and in their hometown of Seattle. We were staying for a few days close by where they live and they treated us royally with tours and food and lots of chat. So, we were very pleased indeed that they decided to call in on us during their North of England and Scotland adventure and give us the opportunity to repay the great welcome they gave us. It was just wonderful to see them again.
 
Here they are arriving from the train from Yorkshire at our little station of Appleby. We met them and took them home. The day was getting on, but we managed an outing in the last light to an Andy Goldsworthy sheepfold that I knew NannaK would love . . . she did.
 
We have eaten and talked and talked some more. We have had to do a little planning together, as we are trying to fit so much into so little time, but we have a good day in store for them tomorrow.
 

And just look at the fabulous gift NannK gave me (in extra) – a beautifully hand made book filled with her iPad pictures, some chosen carefully to be places we saw when we were in Seattle. I absolutely love it and will treasure it forever.
