West (Day 869)

There was great excitement on the morning wander up the hill this morning. Sigyn found (and murdered) a vole after spending a while pouncing on various grassy tussocks. Talisker looked on, bemused.
Back home I settled the woofers down before I headed off to do a little job in Stromness for a very regular customer. Today, they wanted the pipework altered so that they could move their washing machine. It is always a pleasure working for them, and they keep a regular supply of very good coffee on the go - one of those jobs where the coffee mug just never seems to empty.
I was back at home just before my beautiful wife returned from hossing, and after lunch we opted for a wander around the top of Wideford hill. The view from there is lovely, and this is looking west over the Bay of Firth, with our little town by the side of the bay.
At home, we had a quick turnaround before getting ourselves organised and heading to town to get a new tyre on my motorbike. We decided it would be a good idea to have a bit of a ride out, and headed south down to barrier 3, where I took a couple of pics of HV in her new leathers on her bike, hence the extra today.
