The Old Oich Bridge
This was Sunday 3rd, the second day of my holidays.
We went to Fort Augustus which lies at the south west of Loch Ness, half way between Inverness and Fort William. We visited the Caledonian Canal, saw the boats navigating the locks and then we went for a wander around the area.
The Old Oich Bridge, I learnt later on, is a category B listed monument. It's beautifully old and really hard to take a picture of close by, as there are many trees around it and it's difficult to find the right viewpoint.
The views around the area were really beautiful. Just a shame it was mostly a cloudy and rainy day and the light was not great. My pictures look a bit dull...
Back in the chalet, just relaxed.
