St Mary's

My first freelance job was in Harrogate, which was about an hour's drive from where we lived. After that I worked in Leeds (BACG: worst job I ever had); then Knutsford; then Harrogate (again: different site); Crossflatts; Leeds (again: not BACG); London; and, finally, a job in Kendal. (After that, it was Glasgow, Edinburgh, and London.)

Since Meantime has been going, my job has been based in Kendal, although there's been a fair amount of travel. We do have a couple of local clients, though, the closest being actually in Kirkby Lonsdale. So, for this afternoon's meeting, I could actually make my way there in foot. 

I took a slightly circuitous route (STEPS!), which took me through the churchyard. Today was one of those days when I didn't take St Mary's for granted; what a building! If you're ever up this way, do take a look inside. It's magnificent.
