Oktoberfest Munich 2012

Managed to get there today but only to see the ZLF - Agricultural Show which is part of the oktoberfest every 4 years. Lovely sunny warm day, just right for sitting outside & enjoying a Mass Bier (Liter), a Brezn, zwoa Weisswurst und a Hendl.
Munich itself has less than 1.5 Mio inhabitants. The Oktoberfest is visited by around 6.5 Mio people drinking 7 Mio liters of Beer in 16 days, but large parts of the site are great for families.
Will try to Flickr a few photos - none of the beer tents as we didn't visit any.
WARNING: There are loads of fotos of Bavarian Blondes.
Managed to call Fellow Bliper Nogbad from inside a tent when the band was playing. He didn't understand a word but later sent an SMS - Cheers Nigel, had one for you.
