The Thinker

The Thinker statue was a "cheap" tourist souvenir from Greece given to me over 20 years ago while on holiday with a person who I deeply respect. Since my move to Germany, contact has dwindled to zero & I must rectify this soon. For today it has less to do with thinking as trying to keep one's head on!

It has nothing to do with yesterdays trip to the Oktoberfest but felt awful all day. Spent the whole day in a horizontal position & poor Angie had to do all the work. It was a miserable, cold, rainy day and we ought to have been out & about. Angie was going to meet old horse friends near Marktoberdorf (50km away) for a trail ride but she didn't feel up to it and our good friends Petra and Christian were holding a riding course at their place with Bernd Hackl who has recently (including this evening) been featured on German TV.
Both events plus a new one also not far away, take place Sunday as well so hopefully we will get out & about. Weather due to be sunny & warmish.
