More of the Same

Colchicum macrophyllum blooming it's socks off in a sunny raised bed.  I should have lifted the bulbs and separated them.  They are very large and soon become congested.  From the throng of flowers I can see that they need it.

Busy today.  Jamie at school for the morning, I fitted in a big shop at the supermarket and a session on the allotment lifting more spuds.  Rain drove me home where I later worked on the last frame of crocus pots for  a while.  Off to give a talk on alpines to a local hort club tonight.  Think we'll both sleep well :-)
