Marine explorers

We had a lie in till 8 this morning, woohoo! We went to Sainsbury's to stock up on some essentials and then made our way out.

We went to play crazy golf. Phoebe was very competitive and wasn't too happy when james got a hole in one. We all had a good giggle and the children did very well joining in.

We then found a shady spot to have our picnic and ice creams. We sat on the sea front and watched the wash monsters coming to the shore to collect passengers. Alexander loved them and was so excited to see such strange amphibious vehicles. We had a play in the park but it was getting so hot. The children were flagging so we made our way back to the apartment to cool down.

After tea we ventured out again and went to look in the rock pools that are exposed at low tide. We all screamed when we found a crab that hung on to James's stick! We sat and watched the sunset from the green then made our way back for the night. A quick game of dobble with milk and cookies then all off to bed after a lovely hot bank holiday Monday.
