Beach days

After a fry up using the sausages and bacon we bought from the farm shop yesterday we packed our beach gear and set off up the coast. We walked to old Hunstanton where there beach has more sand. It was a slog with the kids in tow but was well worth it. We got our space and we're set for the day!

We played in the sea, we built sand castles and we took it in turns to bury each other. A man in a van came by selling ice creams and we had lots of snacks in the bag. Phoebe was in her element splashing about in the sea. She and James went quite far out together. Alexander was happy collecting buckets of water to fill the 'volcano' we had made with.

We stayed on the beach till 4pm. We couldn't be bothered with the walk back so we hopped aboard the land train. It was great fun and had us back to our apartment in under 10 mins.

After we all got cleaned up we went back out to find somewhere for tea. We went to the Goblins Pantry and had a good hearty meal before spending the rest of the evening in the arcade. Both kiddies won a mystery box each. Phoebes was full of pretty key rings, Alexander's on the other hand just had 3 erasers! He was more than happy with it though.
