Bank holiday

Yay it’s a bank holiday and what could be better than a trip to IKEA?!

Actually anything would be better!

We queued to get in the car park, we drove round and round and round looking for a space and decided to make a pact. Let’s get in and out in record time. Grab exactly what’s on the list, absolutely no browsing, we can split up if we need to but the goal is to get out as fast as we can!

It worked! We were out again in just over half an hour. Yay

We then spent the afternoon at the lake. We had a delicious lunch in the old windmill and then went for a walk to see the ducks. Alexander spotted the mini railway. We stood and watched for a bit and then I took him on for a ride. He loved it!

This evening I went to a yoga in the park session. I’ve never done yoga outside before. I’m normally confined to the house or the village hall. It was brilliant. The lady running the class was fab and really knew her stuff. It was quite an experience listening to the birds and looking at the trees and sky whilst practicing (not to mention being in public). I will definitely go again if she does anymore this summer.
