Everyday I Write The Book

l'chaim ...

A wonderful day. Took the train down to Chichester and spent a couple of hours having a boozy relaxing lunch in a beautiful courtyard setting. Only a Pizza Express but it was so nice to sit in the sun and talk and eat and drink wine and pimms.

Beautiful cathedral, the blip doesn't do it justice. The cathedral cloisters are some of the prettiest I have seen.

Went to the Chichester Festival Theatre in the afternoon. Saw Omid Djalili as Tevye in the most amazing, funny and touching stage version of Fiddler On The Roof. Spectacular production values and really exuberant performances. And such a powerfully presented message about family and community in the face of change and adversity.

Minor disaster tonight when an up-ended mug of tea went all over my MacBook, which I think is now dead. But it has been such a lovely day and all I can think of is how lucky I am to have days like this.

Even found a shop selling loads of vegan cakes. One to remember.

To life, to life, l'chaim ...
