Water Lily

A warm morning and the remaining water lilies in Pollok Park were opening up to soak up the sunshine. I had to lean over the wall to pull back some of the leathery green leaves to expose this beautiful water plant.

I had the dogs with me but as usual they were more interested in a biscuit than the natural world.
